In this level, you play around in a castle-like area. Explore the Ruines of a destroyed castle and rush yourself to the main plaza. This level mixes Tight corridors and open spaces together.

Workflow
1. Research

Research was done on Blitz levels in Unreal tournament to get a better understanding of the product I had to make.
This was done by
playing
the blitz gameode online and
learning
about
player behaviours in these different levels.
By the end of
researching I had information about player behaviour, level layouts, weapon placements, spawn placements and node maps.
2. Architectural photo exercise


Using architectural influences to draw inspiration and create level concepts.
3. Concept
Creating a initial concept using sketchup.
Created node maps to indicate the flow of the level and to show where the important level beats would be.
4. Blockout
Tested different level ideas and tested gameplay and scale.
